The product can be anything that has more than one design variable and one or more performance characteristics. Examples include car tyres and ventilation systems.

meta-design service

The meta-design service has three stages:

database preparation. We advise on and support data collation.
training the meta-model to unearth trends and correlations in the database. We train the meta-model and then validate it to ensure suitable fidelity with the database.
deployment of the meta-model, which will be delivered as easy to use software for inclusion into the product design process for rapid product design optimisation.

database requirements

The database can be purpose built or use an existing dataset of either test or analytical data. It should include measures of the system performance (efficiency, cost) for variation in all design variables required for product design (variation in geometry and materials).
